May  2001 Ecuador expedition
The objective of this trip to Ecuador is to (hopefully) climb to the summit of 3 of Ecuador's highest volcanoes including Ecuador's highest mountain Chimborazo,  which at 20,700 feet is reputedly the world's highest volcano.

Only one of the mountains was successfully climbed due to altitude sickness but there are photos of other volcanoes and the train trip to the "Devils Nose"

Guagua Pichincha Volcano 15,692 ft  (4784 m)

Cotopaxi  Volcano 19,388 feet  (5,911 m)

Tungurahua Volcano  (5023m)

Quilotoa Crater Lake

The train ride to the "Devils Nose"

Ok - only one cute animal  -  a Llama
